Love, love the look and color of these shoes, I get many compliments. But I have an older pair of Gazelles where the tongue is padded and made of soft material. On the new shoes, it might be leather? But it is stiff and the edge is sharp, for lack of a better word. I can feel it rubbing all day long and when I take them off, there is a red mark on my skin. I wish the design was the same as the old ones. I hope they feel a little less stiff as I wear them, but not sure if the edges will stop bothering me. ... ler mais

Great for breakdancing in!

As a girl, I think these are the perfect shoes for breakdancing in because they are light, comfortable, allow your toes ample wiggle room, and for the following two reasons that cemented my love for these shoes: 1) the sole of the shoes are one piece; in other words, the sole does not have an extra band of material that wraps around the outer edges of the sole. The design of the soles on these shoes make the shoes more durable and less likely to come apart at the seams like other shoes made of canvas. My second point is that these shoes are FRESH. They really make a statement when you're on the dance floor. One point I do have to mention is that the sizing is very different from other shoes I've worn; I was a size 4 in canvas shoes before I transitioned to Adidas, and now I'm a size 2. There's nothing bad about that, it's just that I would really measure and make sure the size is right before purchasing (online) so as to prevent returning the product and having to wait impatiently for the right size to arrive. ... ler mais

These trainers are very comfortable, come in a wide range of colours and look good on. They are almost true to size, so if you’re a 3 they may come up slightly maybe 1/2 a size bigger than that so I went down half a size and they’re perfect! ... ler mais

Not classic Gazelles

The laces are much more far up towards the toe of the shoe and the shoe itself is much wider than a classic Gazelle. I have many pairs and these are like a Gazelle but not. I LOVE green suede sneakers, so bought three pairs, I returned two. I have the Kelly green suede Gazelles that came out in the UK a few years ago and they are great. Everyone that sees them loves them. Also, the sueded on these is furry, not the classic suede you may be more used to. ... ler mais
