My foot is naturally wide so if you're like me a half size bigger may be recommended! The fit and feel is great for relief on my ankle flexion I'd otherwise get pain from lifting heavy in another shoe! ... ler mais
Bought these shoes for squats and the Olympic lifts. These are my first pair of weightlifting shoes and I’m really happy with this purchase. The shoe keeps me stable on the floor and the raised heel lets me hit depth easily. Would definitely recommend! ... ler mais
Bought these mainly for CrossFit, out of the box they are more an off white than the white in the images. At first they feel narrow and a bit tight but walked round the house for an hour to break them in. First time wearing them hit a PB back squat. They make a big difference, very solid platform so my lift felt very stable. Cannot recommend these enough, got them in the sale so great value for money too. I went up 1/2 a size and they are very comfortable after breaking them in. ... ler mais
Bought the Adipowers for weightlifting, I mainly use them for squats and overhead pressing. I haven't noticed any increases in weight I am able to lift over chucks but I feel move comfortable at depth on the squat. I personally like the height of the heel. Shoes are comfortable but a little tight in the toe box area. I wear a 13 in sneakers and bought a 13 in the Adipowers. ... ler mais
These shoes are very stable and surprisingly lightweight. The toe area is slightly narrow but I quickly forget about this once I start training. My foot is quite narrow so I’d recommend going true to size. ... ler mais
There aren’t many women’s lifters out there, and most are really expensive. I took a chance with men’s/ unisex because these were an unbeatable price. They look great and fit perfectly! (I’m an 8 usually, sometimes a 7.5, and these fit great in a 6.5 with plenty of room for my wide feet.) I have gotten a lot of compliments on the color, and I feel much more confident and comfortable under the bar. Also, I put pink laces on mine to dress them up and make them a little more feminine. :) ... ler mais
I received mine today and they are great. I can already see that they will be beneficial in the gym. I was apprehensive about what size to order. Some reviews said they were too small, some said they were too big. I used the size chart and measured my foot exactly like it said to and ordered the size that was indicated. This shoe was men’s only sizes so remember ladies, order in the men’s equivalent size, not the women’s size! ... ler mais
Really love these. I have pretty good flexibility, but I decided to give these a try after squatting with flat (hard soled) shoes for years. I immediately increased my squat and had zero pain in my hip flexor as I previously had. I've tried the PowerPerfect 3s as well which work great but not as comfortable. The strap seems to be angled better for my foot on the Adipowers and don't create pressure points. I've read that the Adipowers are more durable, but I don't have enough time with them yet. Oddly enough, I don't have the same problems of the shoe running small, and I have EEE width feet. I wear size 9 shoes normally, but these size 9 Adidas fit perfect. If anything, I actually considered going down to 8.5. ... ler mais
I would highly recommend the Adipower weightlifting shoes for any intermediate to advanced weightlifter. These shoes have had no issues in the year and a half that I have owned them, and they have maintained their quality while using them 5-6 times per week in that period. I originally bought them as a shoe I could wear while doing squats/front squats very frequently (I squat 4+ times per week) to take some stress off my hips and ankles. Since then, I have started incorporating more Olympic weightlifting into my workouts (Snatch, Clean + Jerk). I have had no issues and I have had no hip or ankle problems, thanks to the raised heel. The raised heel allows you to maintain a more upright back while lifting, also reducing stress on the lower back. One downside to these shoes is that they may be a bit expensive for some people (~$200), but anyone that squats very frequently (3+ times per week) will definitely get their money’s worth of use in these shoes. These shoes are probably the best quality you can find for the price, and many professionals use them. Please note that some say these shoes run a bit tight, so I ordered .5 size above my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. ... ler mais
True to size fit with the higher heel lift really assisting my posture on lifts. Excellent power transfer on first pulls, they feel nice and stable. Could be a little bit lighter however, foot speed will take a bit of getting used to. Slight long term concern about the durability of the BOA locking system but otherwise fantastic shoes. ... ler mais
I am usually a UK 6 but ordered a 7 after reading reviews. 6.5 would have been perfect but I kept them anyway as they are very comfy when laced up. My squats already feel better and I don't know how I managed to get this far without them! ... ler mais
So I own every popular weightlifting shoe. Romaleos 2, Romaleos 3, Antas, Legacy Lifter, Leistung, Crazy Power, and Adipowers. I would rank this at #3, just after Anta's and Romaleos 2. Very stable and more flexibility to walk around with. No issues squatting ATG or catching the snatch. Heel height is same as Romaleos 2. Its honestly not far behind with the Antas or Romaleos 2 in terms of performance. I alternate between these 3 shoes and perform the same with either. The other two shoes are just a notch more stable and feels better for when I squat jerk. It's still a fantastic shoe and deserves 5 stars. I wear 9.5 across all my Adidas shoes and with Legacy Lifter (also owned by Adidas via Reebok). But wear Romaleos in a size 9. ... ler mais
Got these in the sale so they were excellent value, and great choice for my first pair of lifting shoes. Plenty of room in the shoe - I went for my normal trainer size in adidas, didn't need to size up. They seem to have lasted well so far - would definitely buy again when needed. ... ler mais
I really like the look of these shoes and they seem great for lifting. But they def run small. I bought my usual size and was super eager to take them to the gym so figured that while they felt a bit tight, they'd loosen up. But alas I think they are actually a half size too small. Bummer! I will have to see if I can shell out for the bigger size. ... ler mais
Shoes seem nice. I enjoy the support they provide during lifts. I wish I knew what a half size smaller feels like. I think that may have been a better choice rather than going up a half size. Hopefully they hold up; they are made in China. ... ler mais
I read all the great reviews and wanted to like these but my feet felt kinda loose even though I went with half size down. In the end, my feet felt more secure with 2 straps (which I prefer) with Reebok Legacy Lifters. I also prefer the ladies Reebok color schemes better. ... ler mais
Invested in a pair as my running trainers don’t have flat bottoms therefore off balance when squatting and lifting. Listened to reviews and went half a size larger than my normal trainer size and they fit perfectly. Super comfortable and they also look great. In love with my new purchase! ... ler mais
