I bought this stick expecting it to be a field hockey stick as it says! However is came and it was very thin, I then thought it was a new design, I have been told by coaches that it is indoor hockey stick? No where does it say it is an indoor stick it says it is a field stick? I play hockey once and the paint shatters and the bottom starts to peel of wood! Not good! ... ler mais
Bought these for my 11 year old son for hockey....he’s tall and size small was an absolutely perfect fit, for this season at least! No need for annoying under foot or over calf straps...they hug the shin and stay in place brilliantly ... ler mais
The adult Small is never a small. These tops are so tiny. I am a size 10/12 and would need an extra Large in this shirt. There is also no stretch at all with the garment. Very disappointed as have to return garment. Anyone else ordering this go atleast two sizes up. ... ler mais
I ordered the L which said it’s a 16-18 thinking I’d have loads of room (I’m normally a 12-14 due to a bigger bust) - this was waaaaay too small and really strained across the chest which distorted the ‘Investec’ across it. I’m not an unusual size or shape, I think you’re going to have a lot of disappointed hockey fans returning these because you’ve sized them out. As a 12 I’m probably the average size of a hockey fan in Britain, if I had to re-order the XL... I’m just gutted for the bigger girls out there who are gonna miss out repoing this at the world cup. ... ler mais
I'm 6' and ordered "L". Good job I didn't order XL because L is pretty much perfect. (I wish they'd state arch-to-top distance). I tried a Gryphon pair recently but it was too curved and too high arched and the arch kept lifting off my ankle. The Adidas ones are much better shaped and sit in position. The removable liner will be cleanable. Perfect. (And after lots of looking this price was the best). ... ler mais
Bought size M for 11yo (152cm with skinny legs). The length of the shin guards is a good fit. One of them is noticeably wider than the other because they arrive nestled one inside the other. But 11yo still loves them and hasn't once asked to wear an old pair. Good purchase. ... ler mais
As a hockey family we have got through a lot of shoes in the last few years. We have tried many brands, but so far have always found the Adidas range to be our favourite overall. Obviously the younger generation like Adidas as a brand anyway, however the combination of being lightweight, good grip, cushioning, comfort and support is hard to beat! ... ler mais
Bought for my partner, she tells me that shoes are more like runners than astros, but still give the protection needed to play with confidence. The colour is great and although it's early days, the quality seems to be there! Great value shoes! ... ler mais
Bought these for my teenage daughter who is a goalkeeper for club and county so she goes through at least one pair of trainers a season. I got these as they were lighweight and we also got half a size bigger to get a perfect fit with socks plus she has wide feet. She has now used them for a week in practice and a match to wear them in. She says she loves them and are the best astro trainers she's had, works well with her goalkeeping kit with the straps not slipping off. ... ler mais
My daughter is very pleased with these shoes because the protection around the toes provides more coverage compared to her last Addidas - those shoes cracked where the toes bend and caused fabric wear, looks like new design won't do this. ... ler mais
