Worn his boots twice and lost the studs

Not really impressed that I had to get these studs I purchased some boots of here that my son had worn twice and lost two studs. Adidas wouldn’t just send me some new studs just a money off voucher so still had to put money to them ... ler mais

Sizing of studs not right

Within 2 hrs of playing in Adidas Malice boots, 2 studs had come out. Apparently you’re meant to tighten them but we have never done that in 7 years of rugby. Adidas requires brand specific studs. This was the only pack that said compatible with Malice boots. Customer support were not knowledgeable on studs. We bought the pack at 25% cost of the new boots. Of the studs in the pack only half of them match the stud length on the boot. I now have half a pack of the most expensive studs on the market that I can’t use. Given that adidas seem to use variety of thread sizes in their studs. It would be helpful if this were provided in the adverts. These were bought for an older pair of boots (that are not listed in compatibility lists) and the studs didn't fit. I'm sure the studs are of adequate quality, but why is it so hard to select the set you need? ... ler mais

Great but expensive

Product is great but far too expensive my son is 14 and lost one stud he will probably outgrow the boots before he needs any more studs Adidas idea of having different studs for different boots is ridiculous ...will think twice before buying Adidas boots again and have passed this onto other parents and they think the same ...be better being able to buy studs individually ... ler mais

Would not buy a different scrum cap

I purchased this product mainly because of its weight and the fact that it doesn't cause the head to sweat like other brands. Hard to purchase in Ireland apart from online sale. Had the same scrum cap before and got damaged around ear area so interesting to see if the product is more sturdy around that area. Strap is very comfortable too. If I didn't wear this product I would not be wearing a scrum cap. ... ler mais

While the set of studs itself is of good quality, it could do with 16 studs in a pack rather than 12 as many of the rugby boots need 8 studs per boot. Additionally, it would be handy to have a full set of 18mm studs available - the longest allowed for rugby - as the wet conditions, especially in Ireland, need the longer grip into the mud. This set seems to be the longest currently available at present. That said, on firmer winter ground, the long back studs and shorter front ones work well. ... ler mais

The studs thread only goes into the boot approx 3 turns which is obviously why the keep coming out! The thread needs to be longer and why change the design of studs so they can only be brought from yourselves? ... ler mais

Good replacement studs

Ordered these as replacements as I had lost two from my predator malice boots. Longer, they are far easier to tighten than the originals which could be difficult to remove even with the Adidas spanner. Would recommend purchasing a spare spanner as the teeth can become twisted ... ler mais
