Wish I'd gone a sixe/ half size up

I like these they are great and lightweight but unfortunately I wont be able to wear them as much as I hoped as they are a bit 'neat'. I'd recommend going a half size over as even when worn just with tights and not socks they get uncomfortable after a short walk. ... ler mais

This was my first Alphaskin product and from the moment I tried it on, I was speechless. Breathable, skin conforming, and works great in both cool and warm climates. Definitely ordering a few more styles. I would say these are pretty true to size. I ordered a medium and it was a little more on the loose side for a compression tee, but still comfortable. I have not yet had the opportunity to put these to the test off of the pavement, but they seem very comfortable right out of the box. Walked several miles around town without any rubbing or blisters the first day. They don't breathe especially well, but that's the tradeoff for waterproofing. ... ler mais

After 4 months of wear the sole is heavily worn which I’ve never had before with any pair of decent trainers. They have good grip and this might be the reason for the soft sole which melts like butter ... ler mais

Falls short of Perfection

I broke in these shoes on a relatively easier hike in Minnewaska State Park Preserve... specifically on the carriage roads. This shoe has many great things going for it. Gore-tex lining is a must-have when hiking. The robust Continental sole grips well. And the upper is lightweight and breathable enough. The Ortholite sock liner was supportive, too. What I don't like is the speed lacing system. Some folks complained about having to re-tighten them too often. I'm going to go ahead and state that you cannot get them as tight as you would with normal laces. Why this lacing system is even a thing is beyond me. Progress for the sake of progress? When normal laces work better, don't mess with them. As a result, my feet were loose in the shoe, and I ended my day with painful blisters, despite having appropriate socks on feet. I don't know if I can return them, or perhaps cut out the bungee laces and replace them with standard laces. My opinion is to stay away from any shoe with this lacing system! Otherwise, Adidas makes a fine product for the outdoors. ... ler mais

Good first impression too soon to judge

Two short runs recently felt less effort: I had not run for 4 months and the change in footware was positive, my old shoes designed for walking on the pavement can roll. The shoes are feel secure and light - I do not know how they will fair in winter and how many miles they will last. I was not happy with the metal eyelets : they have a ridge on the inside and potentially will fray laces or rub on the tongue - I have already installed a tightly fitted guard on each lace to cover the eyelet ridges. ... ler mais

Incredible grip & stability

Decided to buy some proper hiking shoes for climbing mount Triglav in Slovenia. Went with this Terrex model. I've never owned hiking boots before, as I thought of them as uncomfortable and unnecessarily heavy. This shoe proved me wrong! It's a lightweight shoe that provides incredible grip, which makes hiking over rocks a lot easier by being able to rely on each step you take, without having to "confirm" your step. Make sure you buy the right size though, my left foot is a bit smaller than my right, which caused me a blister after 3 days (never wore them before, though). ... ler mais

These are so comfortable a perfect fit. Test drive them on a 5 mile hike and feet were well protected and blister free. They also look great intact ordered a similar pair for my husband straight away!! ... ler mais

Decent compression without being too tight, will stick to this type in future.

I realise this is personal opinion dependant but these are the just right for me, they are just the correct balance of compression, tight but not too much. As yet to test in wet conditions but reckon they will be fine. ... ler mais

Wow what a pair of trainers/shoes they are soon as put them on I knew they were going to be comfortable, they feel so good on your feet. Also the sole is ideal for walking on wet rocks as it has fantastic grip plus it doesn't make your feet sweat too much too. Perfect ... ler mais
